What is so magic about the magic eraser?
When you use it often, eventually, it disappears, and Mr. Clean sells you another one.
What did people use before the magic eraser? A Scotch Bright sponge, water, and a little dish soap. Say you have a mark or grease stain on the wall.
- First, fill a coffee cup with a dab of dish soap and water
- Dip your sponge into the dish soap
- Rub gently, slowly adding more pressure to remove stains
- Use a terry or microfiber cloth to dry
*If you have colored walls, just use a terry cloth with dish soap so that you do not remove the color from the walls.
